I harvested nearly an armload of catnip this morning to keep it from choking out the tomatoes it was choking out. Then I hung it up all over the house to dry. This place stinks. The cat is strangely unaffected.

Is your cat a femalw? A ten year old friend told me that male cats really go for catnip, females not so much.
Just finished doing this myself. Gaea and Shandor Weiss say that the tea was favored in England before Chinese tea became popular. We thought it tasted kind of like broccoli. It could have been the cream though, maybe you’re supposed to have it with lemon? I kind of like the pungent smell, so I haven’t totally lost hope.
